I Am Grieved Today

I am grieved today at sin in our world.  I am not puffed up that I am so much better.  I rejoice I have the hope of Christ to overcome sin, but still I grieve for those trapped in it.

I am grieved that our president and vice president do not care what the Bible says about marriage, about very basic things clearly defined in God’s Word.

I am grieved that in this country and around the world, children are kidnapped and trafficked as sex slaves.  Here is one way to honor your spouse this Mother’s Day in response.

I am grieved for people who simply miss their loved ones.

I am grieved at times for my own lack of passion and pursuit of Christ.

I am grieved that Christ is not worshiped more deeply.

I am grieved – for our country, for sin, for those suffering.

Romans 8:18: I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.

In Christ,

Pastor Kevin
