Does it matter today?

Good morning. It’s over.

The celebrations of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus are over.

Does it matter?

You planned, you prayed, you attended, you engaged. You heard, listened, absorbed. You thought, you worshiped.

Does it matter?

Personally, the past week has been as trying as I’ve endured in a very long time. I can honestly say my love for Jesus is deeper this morning sitting, enjoying, reflecting on the trials of the past week. He will sustain us as we struggle because his source of strength and power are more deep and rich than ours!

If we are Christians who live from event till event, well it’s a long time till that summer missions thing, that fall conference, or Christmas. However, if we are Christians who pursue Jesus daily and thirst for his presence and power always, then the Monday after the “big celebration” is just as satisfying as the day itself.

So it’s Monday. Easter is over.

Does it matter?

In Christ,

Pastor Kevin
